Mike came and fixed my sprinkler system and put in a backflow preventer for me in 2021. I have not had a single problem with my system until today. I text Mike on Sunday about the problem I was having (expecting to hear from him tomorrow). He text back asked a few questions regarding the problem, told me that the problem would resolve itself, but he could stop by if it did not. So grateful for his time and help!!
We hired Mike to do some repair work and re-do our backyard stations. Mike kept us in the loop as far as scheduling. Mike was on time and hard working. Michael was terrific. Very responsive. Even during what I am sure is his busiest time of year, he was able to schedule me for the same week for our minor repair. We inquired about fixing one leak, but during the week found 3 more. He took care of them all. I will definitely call him for future needs. Great guy!
I had several problems with some sprinklers that were broken or had settled into the turf so I couldn't find them. I called Mike and he fit me in to his schedule. He was on time, and quickly fixed the four issues that I had. He was upfront with the pricing before he came out and completed the work in just one hour. I usually read reviews when looking for a business, but always do so with a grain of salt. Especially, when they have a solid 5 star history. This is literally only the third time I have written a review, because Mike deserves his 5 stars. I will recommend him to anyone who needs help with their irrigation system.

Mike was amazing and very easy to work with. He was able to fit me in his busy schedule for Winterization this year at a very good and affordable price. Didn't rush and handled my sprinkler system with care and was very cautious about blowing out my sprinklers unlike other businesses in the past who rushed it and ended up breaking some tips off my system. What a great experience. Not only were they on time they came 10 minutes early. 6:20 a.m.! They quickly dug out (aproximately 5ft x 5ft) and diagnosed/replaced cracked piping, etc. Their price was more than fair. Explained everything thoroughly. They even went the extra mile to make sure my sprinklers were all hitting where I would like them to. They cleaned my steps, respread my wood chips and things look fabulous! Very personable and professional. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HK Irrigation. I will definitely be calling them for any needs in the future.
I loved how Mike was able to meet me within 20 minutes to give me a quote for a job to be done at my mom's house of calling him. When he came to do the job, he was very careful - didn't trench in tight areas, dug by hand, prompt - always on time when he said he would be there, and did a great job overall. I will be calling him for a quote on my front yard. I would recommend to anyone.
Mike was very polite and was able to fit me in his schedule to get our secondary water shut off valve replaced 2 days after we had contacted him. The price was more than fair and the quality of work was great. I can barely see when he had dug up the grass. Thanks again for helping us out on such short notice.
MIke from HJ did a fabulous repair for us. He really knows his stuff and is fast. You can tell a pro when you see one. We initially discussed adding a box, replacing a line and 6 or 7 heads heads on one zone, adding a box, repairing a second zone, and setting up feed-lines and adding a head in a third zone. Along the way he also uncovered a head in the middle of the yard we did not know was there, replaced the head, and in minutes replaced two other heads. When he left everything was great. He charged a reasonable price. He also left my yard looking pretty much the way it looked when he came although he dug a 50 foot trench while doing the repair. I really like that he is willing to do repairs...many of the other companies are only interested in new installs. I will definitely hire again. 5 Stars!! ;)
A coworker of mine recommended using this company so I thought I’d give it a shot. I’m glad I did! I made an appointment to have a couple new sprinklers installed and a sprinkler tech expert, Mike, was at my house in less than 24 hours. Great quality in a short amount of time. I thought my irrigation water had been turned off for the winter which was not the case leaving my pressure vacuum assembly to leak and freeze over. I called multiple companies with no luck or help getting my water tuned off or looked at as it was mid winter. I reached out at 4am to HK Irrigation not expecting a reply until the next day and Michael not only got back to me but showed up that morning around 7:30am. He got my water shut off and looked at the vacuum system. Great service, great guy!
I can't say enough good thinks about Mike. He's helped me multiple times in a season. One if the issues I had multiple people come look at over the years and they could never figure it out, and he finally did. He's always been really good to fit me into his busy schedule.
Mike is awesome! Talked to him on a Monday, started on a Tuesday, Finished on Friday. Treated us very fair, and worked his tail off to get us what we needed, and with a quick turn around. Hands down giving them 5 stars and would recommend them as the only person to use for sprinklers.
Mike came over today to fix my sprinklers. He did a great job. He answered when I called, I had an appointment for two days later, he came when he said he would, fixed them right then. The water coverage is much better now, everything looks great.

I called around and nobody else could get to me for at least a day, and some companies were 2 weeks out. He had some extra time between appointments and fit me in. He fixed my problem quickly and I am very happy with his work!
Mike did a great job installing my new shut off valve and sprinkling system. I had chosen quite an unconventional system, he listened and gave me exactly what I asked for. He arrived on time, such a hard worker, and for a great price. Such a nice guy with great communication skills. I lucked out and it's March, and it's done!
This guy's the real deal. If you're lucky enough to get him to your home he will not disappoint. Not expensive but not cheap. Worth every dime you will pay him. Michael went through every zone on my sprinkler system, made adjustments, replaced parts where it made sense, repaired a couple heads for me, and in a couple of hours had my sprinkler system in tip top shape. LOVED that he offered to come by at 6:00 a.m. and was gone by 8. Always cool to see a professional do their thing and today was no exception.
I was looking for someone trustworthy to check my sprinkler system as there were several dry areas in the lawn. Mike was very friendly and communicated easily about the issues and what he thought would resolve the problems. Mike returned my initial call within a day and was on time on the agreed upon day for the work. He is a great person who I will refer to friends.
We bought our house over a year ago and hadn’t used our sprinkler system since buying. We don’t know much about them either. Over the winter, an undetected leak from the sprinkler valve (ours is nearly 8 feet deep) caused us a huge water bill and knowledge that we had a problem. Not knowing at the time specifically what was wrong, we called 3 plumbers out to help diagnose. They all pointed to a sprinkler issue. We contacted Mike and asked if he could come give us an idea what might be wrong and he came out as soon as he had a minute the next day. He said it was 99% the valve was bad/malfunctioning but he was so busy, he couldn’t fit us in for a few weeks if we needed him to dig the hole too. we felt so confident with Mikes prediction that We decided my husband would dig the hole (which took him 5 days between rainy days) if it meant Mike could come out sooner. Sure enough, the valve was the problem. Mike came out as soon as my husband told him the hole was dug, went to get parts and came out early the next morning. Mike fixed our issue quickly and correctly. He even raised the valve to not be so deep as well. Mike was so friendly, understanding, knowledgeable, efficient, reasonably priced and we felt empathy from him as well. If we have any problems or questions in the future, no doubt we would go through him again.
Mike was very punctual and arrived well before the start time we agreed upon. He worked quickly and fixed my sprinkler system leak in an hour. I would definitely hire him again for sprinkler system repairs.
I had a broken sprinkler line and at least 5 broken heads as well as almost ever head needed some attention Mike came out exactly when he said he would and took great care of me in just a couple of hours he trouble shot all of my problems and had my whole system working flawlessly! We had a problem with our main sprinkler shut-off valve. It had a major leak. I called a plumber and left a message. They never called me back. We looked around for a local irrigation company and found the HK Irrigation LLC (West Haven) with great reviews. They came by and did a great job fixing our problem. Things I like about this company: 1. They were on time for all appointments and schedules. 2. Their price was very reasonable. 3. They did a fantastic job. I can’t even tell what part of the lawn they dug. I highly recommend this company for any problem you have with your outdoor. I will be using them from now on.
A preface before I review this great business: I had called at least a dozen lawn care and irrigation related businesses in this area. I received prior to HK only one other call back and one other estimate. The previous guy actually showed up but only after I had made two appointments with him. Then I never heard from the guy again! So that's how the run-up to this irrigation job had gone for me in North Ogden. I found out about HK through Google and saw the five stars. This business has only been around for about a year and a half and right away I get a call back and an estimate. I basically needed a re-work to my existing irrigation for half an acre that was turning yellow every summer. Mike shows up, gives me a good estimate and I told him my budget. He was able to work within the budget and had great communication the entire time! If you want this guy to work on your irrigation install or upgrade, understand that he now has a pretty good backlog. I waited two weeks but was happy to do so. All grass that was dug up was replaced as if it wasn't even disturbed. And now our sprinkler system is working at higher pressure and with greater coverage than it has in six years! VERY HAPPY with this work!

My sprinkler guy bailed on me and forgot to come winterize my sprinklers. My back flow ended up freezing and spraying water everywhere. I called about 11 sprinkler companies which most didn’t answer or they were booked all winter or quoted ridiculously high bids. Mike called me back immediately, gave me the best price, and came out when he said he would. Due to the virus, I don’t like to have too much face to face interaction and he came here and didn’t knock on my door or try to talk to me in person. He came, did the job, text me, asked if I wanted to see his work, sent me an invoice and boom it was done with no hassle at all! Thank u so much for coming through for me!! I appreciate it!!
We bought a new build house and had Mike build the entire backyard. He turned our dirt pit into a beautiful place to enjoy playing with our kids outside! He laid the irrigation system and even worked with our fence installation guy to make sure everything was in the proper place. He laid sod while we were on vacation and watered it for us while we were gone. He showed us how to work the Rain Bird control for setting up scheduled watering. He also helped identify a couple of issues that came up with our front yard landscaping which was installed by someone else through our contractor. We got a quote from Mike and the guy who did our front yard. The front yard guy quoted more and does far less quality work. We are amazed at how beautiful the backyard looks and really wish Mike had done our front yard too! He is very professional, knowledgeable, and answered all of my many questions! I highly recommend!!!!
Michael was so professional and the services offered were what we needed. He was very prompt in meeting our needs and getting the work done. He even went above and beyond to ensure that we had great quality products to last us a long time. I am impressed with the work that was done and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for sprinkler or water line work. We had him run a secondary water line for us to our front yard so I can water.

Mike was very professional. I took the time to get several quotes on the sprinkling system and yard that I hired him to put in. I found that Mike was the most responsive and once he was on the job I didn't have any concern that it would be done correctly. Once the grass comes in I'll update this review or leave another with a picture of his good work.
I thought repairs were going to be extensive and expensive. Two zones with no power, one leaking valve, and several heads out. Mike identified and fixed all the problems amazingly quickly at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend! A+
Mike and Ruben did a fantastic job on our sprinkler repair and they were very quick to get here. We had a tree that had roots growing around our sprinklers and they rerouted and added a sprinkler and my husband and I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of repairs or needs new sprinklers.

We thank the Lord for leading us to HK Irrigation. Our secondary water just came on and we find a broken tube in our front yard sprinkler system that caused flooding and a leak in our drip irrigation also. We called HK and Mike answered our call right away. Found out Mike is the owner and when we explained to him our problem and asked if he could please help us, he checked his schedule and without hesitation offered to squeeze us if we could be available first thing the next morning. Just this morning, he and his staff arrived on time and fixed the problems in no time (seeing he really knows what he's doing) and even went through and run/tested our whole sprinkler system to make sure everything is running ok and sure enough found some sprinkler heads that needed replacements. He and his staff Ruben worked with even a smile on their faces and very quick to answer questions. Even showed us how to use the sprinkler system scheduling to avoid waste of water. We have been blessed for his charge was also very reasonable. Would definitely call on him again if we need servicing in our irrigation system. Thank you so much Mike and Ruben. Had an issue with my sprinkler system not working correctly. Called to see when I could get it looked at and was told a couple days out. I never actually had him come out as I fixed the issue however he was very responsive and helpful through text to determine what the issue was. Will go here in the future should I need someone to come out!
